Claire and I spent New Year's Eve with some wonderful friends. Claire had a blast playing with Grant and Henry and all of Henry's toys. Claire was a party animal and made it until 10:00. I think she enjoyed all the attention she was getting with the boys in bed.

Hotel fun with the Strander's

The Strander family were so kind to invite us over to the hotel they were staying in for the night. Claire had so much fun playing Sutton, Griffin, and Jacie. They are so good with her.

We had a wonderful Christmas with Jennie, Darren, Brynn, and Cara today. Jennie made a wonderful meal and the kids had a great time playing and opening presents. Claire loved playing with all of their toys. Pete and Brynn had a great time playing together, like always.

Claire was able to wear her Steeler gear today because the Vikings don't play until tomorrow night. I think she was their good luck charm. The pink hat is from my Uncle John and Aunt Sue which she wore on the day she was born, but it fits much better now.

Claire is having a fun time playing with her new toys and outside with Grandma Betsy. She is loving all the attention she is receiving.

Christmas with the Paul's and Rich

Grandma Betsy and Grandpa Jeff were able to drive up for Christmas and we are having a wonderful time. Claire had a great Christmas and was very spoiled. Her Uncle Mikey and Grandpa Rich also spent Christmas with us. Claire loved her piano from Uncle Mikey, her tunnel/tent from her parents, and her police car from her grandparents.

Aunt Megan, Claire, and mom went to see Santa at the Maplewood Mall tonight. Mom thought it would be less busy during the week, but she was very wrong. We waited 40 minutes, but it was worth it. Claire was such a good girl and very patient. We were able to get some cute pictures, but I was a little sad that she wasn't smiling. We couldn't spend much time on Santa's lap because we weren't buying any pictures.

Claire and I attended Girl's Night at Angela's house this week, where we also had a cookie exchange. It was another great night watching Claire play with the Huebscher boys. They are starting to interact more and it is so fun to watch. Claire was a little bit of a bully, but she is definitely a girl who knows what she wants.

Next we headed down to Cottage Grove to Grandma Robyn and Bob's house for the extended family Christmas. We had a wonderful time with the family enjoying great food, games, and laughter. There is never a dull moment when we all get together, but it is so much fun. Claire is lucky to have so many people who love her.

We have a very busy weekend filled with three Christmas gatherings. We started with a Christmas at our house with Dave, Ione, David, Rich, Erick, Becky, Dominic, Cameron, Andrew, Megan, Pete, Claire and I. It was a full house, but everything turned out great and we had a wonderful time. Claire decided to sleep through most of the festivities so her mom and dad had to open her presents. She received so many wonderful gifts today and really enjoyed playing with them this evening. She is lucky to have so many wonderful people in her life.

Claire and I are so lucky to have Girl's Night every Wednesday where Claire has a chance to play with her two Huebscher boys, Grant and Henry. This past week Claire and Grant had a blast playing with Henry's toys. He is such a good sharer.

Claire got an early Christmas present this past week and she loves it. It's so fun to see her explore new toys.

Bath Time

Claire loves bath time. We have to put a towel on the bottom because she won't sit still and this helps her stay above water. I know everyone is shocked to hear that she doesn't sit still in the bath.
