 Beautiful

We wanted to visit the new exhibit at the MN Zoo so we thought it would be a fun day with Grandma Betsy and Papa Jeff too.  We had a great time there, but Claire wasn't sure about the dinosaurs.  She kept saying, "KEEP GOING!"  I'm pretty sure if we did it again she would love it.  We sure are lucky to have so many fun activities near us.

 Fun times
Grandma Betsy and Papa Jeff were here for their annual summer visit and it happened to fall on one of our very busy summer days.  Don't get me wrong, most of our days are pretty busy, but they got to experience the real deal.  Everyone started the day at Claire's soccer practice and then Pete and Papa Jeff left to go golfing.  That left the girls for a fun day.  We headed to Music in the Park in Rosemount.  After that we stopped for some strawberry picking which Claire loved.  She was a great helper.  Then we headed home for a quick nap before heading to Oakdale for their parade where we met Dale, Roxanne, Andrew, Megan, and Carter.     It was a dream day for Claire and me and everyone else was a good sport about it.

This is our third year hosting a party for the Strawberry Fest Parade.  Last year it poured so we had our fingers crossed this year.  It rained for about an hour before the parade, but it stopped just in time.  We had a wonderful time with friends.  There was about 40 people including about 22 kids at our house.  After the parade we grilled hot dogs and enjoyed the great company.  We are so lucky to have such a great friends.
