Claire and I thought one Thanksgiving wasn't enough so we headed to Cambridge with Grandpa Rich to celebrate with Pete's side of the family. It took Claire some time, but when she warmed up she had a great time with everyone. We had to take some cute pictures of the three kids who were able to make it. I may be a little bias, but I think they are pretty stinking adorable.

Thanksgiving at the Solberg House

Pete had to work so Megan was nice enough to invite Claire and I to her parent's house for our first Thanksgiving that day. We had a great time and the food was amazing. Claire loves her cousin Carter and spent most of the day kissing him or talking to him. It was pretty sweet.

Kammerers

It had been a long time since we have been able to meet up with the Kammerers so we were very excited when it finally worked out. We had a great time eating dinner, catching up, and playing with the kids. The kids had a great time with each other and did a great job playing together.

First Snow

Claire was very excited when she saw all the snow so we bundled up and headed outside for some fun. She wasn't really sure what to do in the backyard so I brought her out front to help me shovel and she loved that. I wish I would have taken pictures because she was really good at shoveling and actually pushed the snow to the side.

Jennie, Brynn, and Cara came up to our house to spend some quality girl time together. We always have a great time playing and catching up when we get together. We decided it needs to happen more often. We took several pictures and couldn't get a great one, but I had to share a couple.

Halloween 2010

We had a rough Halloween weekend, but we still made it out to trick-or-treat for a little while. The Friemanns were nice enough to invite us for pizza and trick-or-treating with them. We had a great time and the kids were adorable in their costumes. Claire did a nice job going up to the houses and saying, "tick-o-teat." It was fun watching her be such a big girl.

Family Time

We were lucky enough to have a visit from Grandma Betsy recently. Grandpa Jeff had to work so he couldn't come up, but it was nice having time with my mom. She was able to stay for almost a week and we had a very fun and busy time together. Claire was very excited to see her grandma come out of the computer. She went right to her which made Grandma very happy. She spent the next couple loving "Ganma" and following her around. She loved helping her dry her hair and a pretty set routine everyday. I'm not sure who had more fun Grandma or Claire. Uncle Mikey made it over for dinner one night and Claire really enjoyed playing with him too. She is a very lucky girl to have so many people who love her.

We've been lucky enough to spend more time with the Huebschers lately. Claire loves playing with Henry and I love holding baby Roy. It is really fun to see Claire and Henry interact with each other. He is a great influence on her.

Megan's parents invited us over for dinner a couple weeks ago so Claire and I took them up on the offer. It was a fun night with family and friends. Claire had fun with her cousins Carter and Tatiana. She really looks big next to the babies.

C and C

I feel like there will be many more posts of Claire and Carter so I thought it might be better to shorten their names a little bit. Claire adores her new Cousin Carter and so do the rest of us. She is a "great" helper and is always finding his nuk for him. She also has to help Mae-Mae (Megan) carry him in his car-seat to the car every time they leave. Thank goodness Megan is such a good sport about this.

Field Trip

Every year Claire's Day Care takes a field trip to the Apple Orchard and this year I decided to take the day off and join her for a fun morning. My friend Jennifer and I tagged along and I think it's going to be an annual event for the two of us. It was so fun watching her interact with the other children and how they play together. It was also nice being the parent and not the teacher on a field trip. It was a much more relaxing experience.

Fall Leaves

There's nothing better then watching your two favorite people playing in the leaves. Claire was Pete's helper racking the leaves and then they enjoyed their hard work. Those two have such blast together.

Pine Tree Apple Orchard

Pete, Claire and I met Shawn, Angela, and Samantha at the Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake. We had a great time on the hayride, picking pumpkins, and buying treats. It doesn't hurt that we had two adorable girls with us.
