So in love with these two cuties.

We've been waiting very patiently for Carter to arrive and we were very excited when we got the news. Aunt Becky was staying with us at the time so the three of us headed up to the hospital as soon as possible. He is perfect little guy and him and his parents are doing very well. He entered the world on September 12th around 6:30 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 21 1/4 inches long. We try to see him as much as possible without being obnoxious. I am very lucky to have 4 nephews and 1 niece now. I love being an aunt.

Socializing

She loves Henry, but I'm not sure he feels the same way. :)

Sweetie

Jen invited Claire and I up for a play date with Henry and Roy. Claire and Henry had fun playing together and I had fun holding Roy. It was a win-win situation for us.

Girls' NIght with the Aslesons

Pete and Darren were both working so Jennie and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to get all the girls together. We had a blast playing together and enjoying some pizza. We have a photo shoot almost every time we get together and we still can't get a great picture of all three girls. We thought pajama pictures would be cute so here is our attempt. I know they look the same, but I had a hard time picking which ones to post.

Football Sundays

Pete and I love football and we are training Claire at a young age to feel the same way. She doesn't usually pay any attention to the TV, but she loved watching the game for about 20 seconds at a time which is a long time for her. If she heard cheering she would start clapping. It was pretty cute. She was only awake for the first quarter, but I think that was enough for her. She must know that her parents love football because she slept for the next 4 hours. We do know how lucky we are that she naps this long.

Babysitting Samantha

I offered to babysit Samantha on Labor Day because her mom had to work and her dad wanted to go to the Twins game with Pete and Erik. The three of us girls had a wonderful time together. Claire adores Samantha so it was pretty cute watching them interact. I had to put Claire in her Twins shirt so they would match. I loved getting my baby fix and Samantha is such a sweetie.

Friend Reunion

Alexis had to get her baby fix.

Our good friends Alexis and Mike were in town visiting from Cincinnati so the friend group had a little party to celebrate. We met for dinner in Woodbury and then spent a couple hours at Jen and Scott's house catching up. We had a wonderful time and the kids had a blast playing together like always. We are very lucky to have such wonderful people in life.

Woodbury Days Round 2

Claire and I didn't have enough of Woodbury Days so we met Aunt Megan and we spent some more time there together. We had a great time walking around, playing in the bounce house and feeding the animals. We wanted Claire to go on a pony ride, but she didn't think that was a good idea. It was another fun day with Aunt Megan.

Pete had to work so the Huebscher family said that Claire and I could tag along with them. We had a fun time eating, watching acts, and walking around. Claire loves Scott and Jen and I think she tried to join their family. It was pretty cute.
