Giggle Factory

Just Chilling Out
Anything you can do, I can do better. :)
Help from her big "brother"
Double Trouble
So stinking cute.

Claire and I spent a fun morning with Jen, Adam, and Sam at the Giggle Factory the other weekend. Claire loves her "brothers" and "momJen." We are so lucky to have friends that are like family that live so close.

Swimming Lessons

Claire and Henry

Can I just jump off the diving board?

We thought it was time that Claire started swimming lessons since we spend every summer at the beach. Lucky me gets to swim with her. It worked out that our friends Jen and Henry also wanted to start swimming lessons so we signed up together. We've had two classes and both times Claire jumped right in. She can blow bubbles, kick her feet, and jump off the side. Even though swimming isn't my favorite activity it is so fun to watch Claire and see her excitement.

New Year's Eve 2010

Kids are sleeping so the moms are playing Apples to Apples.

The bounce house was a big hit.
Ringing in the New Year a little early.
My buddy Roy!
Cute
Hanging out with Jen.

We hosted New Year's Eve this year and it was a blast. It was family event so we had a full house, but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. At one point we had five kids 2 and under sleeping at the same time. I think that is something to be proud of. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends to ring in the New Year with and we are very thankful.

Never Enough Time with the Aslesons

Love these girls!
Brynn and Cara joined the family!
Great friends
Our big girls

Even though we spent the morning with Jennie and Cara at the Children's Museum they were still up for coming to dinner that night, but Darren and Brynn also came with. We always have a great time with them and my parents were glad to see them too. The girls did a great job playing together and we even got a couple good pictures. One of these days we will get a great one of all three of them.

Children's Museum Round 2

So stinking cute!

Claire and I didn't have enough of the Children's Museum the first time so decided to go again. Grandma Betsy wanted to see what it was like so the three of us met Jennie and Cara there for the morning. Grandma Betsy bought us a membership there for my birthday so Claire and I will be spending many more fun days there.

Fun with Friends

My parents wanted to meet our friends the Friemanns so we had them over for dinner. We had a great time together and the kids had a blast in the bounce house. Claire sure loves her buddies Sam and Adam.

Family Get Together

Doesn't get much better.
Uncle Andrew and Claire were buddies.
Someone had to hold the sleeping baby while everyone cleaned up. :)

My parents wanted to see Megan, Andrew, and Carter so we had them over for dinner. We had a great time together and a wonderful meal cooked by Betsy. We sure are going to miss all her cooking.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

I have no idea where she learned to talk on her phone and walk a baby. :)
How many men does it take to put a kitchen together?
Doesn't get much better than this!
Waiting patiently to try out her new toy.

Spoiled
Apples to Apples
Claire loves her Uncle Mikey

We had a great Christmas this year and it gets more fun every year with Claire. I love that she is starting to understand what is happening. She did a great job leaving the presents alone, but we could tell it was getting hard for her. Uncle Mikey spent the weekend with us and Claire adores him. If he left the room she was calling for him. We are very lucky to be so blessed.

Winter Break with Grandma Betsy and Grandpa Jeff

Helping Grandpa Jeff make his famous bloody marys.
Favorite activity of Grandma and Claire
Can I just eat the candy instead?
Helping Grandma bake.
Watching the Steeler game together!

Claire was very excited to have Grandma and Grandpa Paul around for a week. She had so much fun playing with them and showing off. She definitely got all the attention she was looking for this break. It was sad for us to see them go, but hopefully we will see them before June.
