Claire and I had a great time at Thanksgiving today. Unfortunately Pete had to work so he wasn't able to attend, but we brought food home for him. Claire had a great time playing with her cousins Dominic and Cameron. She also loved playing with and chasing her third cousin Lukah. He was so great with her. He tried to teach her how to crawl up stairs. He was very encouraging. I think they are going to have a lot of fun in the years to come. Claire also enjoyed all the attention from the adults. She is such a people person. We are so thankful for such a wonderful family.

9/10 Month Stats

Claire had her 9 month check up today, but she really is almost 10 months old. I had a hard time getting in for an appointment. Everything went really well and the doctor said she looks good. I had a pretty happy moment when the nurse said she was tall. I never thought I would hear that about my daughter. Thank goodness her dad is tall. Hopefully this will be a regular occurrence.

Her new stats are:

Weight: 20lbs 12 ounces; 74th percentile

Height: 74 cm; 85th percentile

Head: 47 cm; 98th percentile; What a shocker :)

Fun Times

Last night we decided it was time for Claire to upgrade to a bigger car seat. When we got home, Pete put the car seat in the van and Claire found the best part of the purchase. It was the box of course. She spent most of the night crawling in and out of the box. She just played and giggled forever. It was great. I don't think we can get rid of the box now.

Poor Riley has really got the short end of the stick since Claire has been born. Claire's favorite new thing is to crawl as fast as she can to Riley and take his bones away from him. It is pretty funny to watch, but Riley doesn't really enjoy the game.

Claire and I had fun spending Saturday morning with Jennie, Brynn, and Cara. Of course I had to take some new pictures of the girls. Brynn didn't want to be in the pictures so this time it's only Claire and Cara.

It was a very busy day of party's with the family this weekend. Claire was able to play with her cousins and Great Aunt Ione and Great Uncle Dave at their son's house warming party. We had a great time catching up and Claire loved all the attention.

We had a great time with Grandpa Rich, Megan, Andrew, Becky, Erick, Dominic, and Cameron this weekend. Claire loved playing and tormenting her younger cousins. She loved pulling out their nucks and putting them in her mouth. I don't think this will last for long so she is taking advantage of it now.

Claire had a blast playing in the boxes and being pulled around the house in them. It was just a benefit that she could eat them too.

Grandma Betsy was able to visit for a long weekend, but Grandpa had to stay back in NC and work. We had a very fun and busy couple of days. Claire loved spending time with Grandma and being spoiled. She was able to show off her new talents like army crawling. We also met Jennie, Brynn, and Cara at the MN Zoo to take advantage of a beautiful November day in MN. We were very lucky that the weather was perfect for Grandma's visit.

Claire had a great first Halloween. We visited Grandma Robyn and Bob and spent the evening at the Solberg's house enjoying a bonfire and handing out candy. Aunt Megan, Mom, and Hunter took Claire trick or treating to a couple houses for the memories.

Claire wore she Wild jersey that Grandpa Rich got her, but she couldn't attend the game with Dad and Grandpa. A 7:00 start is just to late for her since that is when she usually goes to bed.
