State Fair

Claire's favorite animal at the fair.

We had to get to the State Fair once this year so Pete, Claire, and I headed there this morning. We wanted to go in the morning so we could get back for Claire's nap. We had a really fun day walking around and eating way to much food. Claire loved all the animals, but the cows were her favorite. We met Rich, Mike, and Kathy at the fair and spent some time walking around with them. Once Claire saw Grandpa Rich she was attached to him for the rest of the time. We spent about 5 hours there today and that was plenty for Claire and I. She was asleep before we got to the parking lot. Of course she couldn't sleep at the fair because there were too many people to watch. I have no idea who she gets that from. :)

I love my daddy
She loves to go "nigh, nigh" with dad.

Here are a couple adorable pictures I had to share of Pete and Claire. Claire loves her daddy and just lights up when she sees him. It is so fun to watch them together.

Henry and Claire

They look like they were caught doing something wrong. :)

Sugar High

We were lucky enough to spend time with Henry twice in one week and I think Claire was pretty happy about that. The first time the whole Huebscher family came over for dinner. They also had the ice cream sandwich dessert and you can see the kids on their sugar high following dessert. The second time we just had Henry at our house for a couple hours because Jen needed to take Roy to a check up. We had a great time playing together and the kids did so well together. It was fun to see what it's like when kids actually SIT and play for a few minutes. I didn't remember that was possible.

Good Friends

Claire loves Jen
Cute kids

We had the Friemann's over for dinner the other weekend. It was our turn to cook so we made our favorite kabobs. I also made my Aunt Sandy's ice cream sandwich dessert and I think that was the biggest hit of the night. We always have a great time hanging out and this gathering ended much better than last time.

Andersons

Shawn reading to Claire. So cute
I love that it looks like she telling Samantha something.
Three pretty ladies
Kisses

It had been way to long since we had gotten together with the Anderson's so we had them over for dinner, drinks, and games. Of course we got some adorable pictures of the girls. We had a great time together and even got both girls sleeping so we could play a game of Pictionary. Of course Angela and I dominated the boys so they quit early instead of losing. That way they could say they are quitters and not losers. Such good role models. :)

McDonald's

Giving hugs
So proud of herself
Cutie
Pretty adorable

Jen, Henry, and Roy came over last week for a play date and then we decided to go to McDonald's for lunch. The kids did a pretty good job eating their lunch before hitting up the tunnels. Henry and Claire had a blast crawling up the tunnels and peeking through the windows. Jen and I were thankful that they didn't try to climb to the top. It is fun that we can do things like this with the kids.

Babysitting

I offered to watch our friend's kids Adam and Sam last week and we had a really fun day. Jennifer, Hannah, and Addison came over in the morning and the kids were so cute playing together. They all go to day care together so they know each other very well.

Fun Aunt Megan

Megan was so sweet to be willing to watch Claire last Monday from 7:30 am until 7 pm. It was a very long day for a very pregnant Megan, but she was up to the task. She met her friend Laura and her son Brayden at an indoor park in the morning. Here are a couple pictures from Claire playing in the balls. It was her first time and it looks like she enjoyed them. We are very lucky to have Aunt Megan in our life and hope to repay all the babysitting when Baby Berling arrives in the next few weeks.

Girl's NIght at the Park

So cute
Two happy girls
Can you say, "cute couple"
Best friends for life

We decided to have our weekly Girl's Night at a park in Woodbury this week. It was a nice a change pace and the kids had a blast. Beth picked up pizza so we had a little picnic at the park. We are very lucky to have such wonderful friends in our life.

MN Zoo

A little after lunch running.
Cara took the popcorn to go.
Claire loved the tunnel.
Pretty sisters
We tried for all three, but that didn't work out.

Claire and I had a great time at the MN Zoo with some of our favorite girls. We met Jennie, Brynn, and Cara for some fun at the zoo and a picnic lunch. The weather was perfect and the company even better.

Surprise Party

The birthday girl, her sister, and the host.
My adorable nephews

Can I love you anymore?
Claire and her wonderful Aunt Becky

Pete's cousin Ben and his wife Lulu decided to have a party and they also incorporated a surprise birthday party for his sister Liz. Pete was working so Claire and I went with Erick, Becky and the kids to the party. As soon as Claire saw Grandpa Rich she was attached to his hip for the day. It was very sweet. The party was a hit and Liz was very surprised.

Weekend Full of Family

Pete's brother Erick his wife Becky and their children Austin, Madison, Cameron and Dominic came for the weekend. We had a great quality time together. The twins and Claire had fun playing together. Claire also has a new crush and his name is Austin. Austin and Madison were so good with the kids, but Claire definitely enjoyed having Austin attention. She would follow him around and just stare at him. It was pretty cute.

Baby Roy

So cute
I got the end of a smile.
She loves baby Roy.
She was very gentle with him. (thankfully)

Claire and I visited Jen and Roy last week because we needed to see how much Roy had changed while we were gone. I think Claire was a little disappointed that Henry was at day care, but she enjoyed playing with his toys. We had a great visit and Roy was adorable.
