We are lucky to have so many wonderful people in our lives and we have enjoyed their company in the last couple weeks.  Claire and Ainsley have been spoiled by everyone and we are grateful to everyone who came to visit or gave gifts.  I don't know what we did to deserve such great people in our lives,  but we are very thankful for them.

Family of Four

We are adjusting and enjoying our new family of four these days.  Claire adores her sister and is very helpful.  She often says, "Where my baby?"  when she gets home from day care.  I love that she worships her sister and I am very grateful that she isn't jealous of her sister.  Ainsley is a sweetie who loves to eat and sleep.  We don't see much of her eyes during the day, but don't worry I get to see them in the middle of the night when she decides not to sleep.  Hopefully her nights and days get figured out soon, but at least she sleeps during the day so I can nap.  It definitely comes with challenges, but we are so happy to have two beautiful and healthy girls.

Ainsley Ann

We are very happy to announce our baby girl was born on March 8th, 2012 at 11:34 am. She was 7 lbs 5 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. She came out wide eyed and calm. She has some hair, but it is definitely the old man look right now. :) We had a great experience at Regions and everything went really well. We stayed for three nights and were able to come home on Sunday afternoon. Claire spent the time with Aunt Mae-Mae and she did great with her. We are very lucky to have such wonderful family members. It has only been a couple days, but Ainsley is very laid back and spends her time sleeping, eating or just staring at the people around her. Claire is loving her role as a big sister and takes her job pretty seriously. We are to lucky to say that our family of four is complete.

Gymnastics Round 2

Claire loved gymnastics so much that we decided to sign her up again, but this time we did it through community education in Cottage Grove. Claire was very excited to take classes at the high school. Of course we signed up with Henry again so that makes it even more fun for the kids and moms.

Disney on Ice

First Date!

Claire was invited to attend Disney on Ice with her good buddy Henry and his parents a couple weeks ago. She was so excited to see all different characters and spend the morning with Henry. They are pretty cute together and have so much fun together so I knew it would be a great time for her. Thank you so much to Scott and Jen for taking Claire with them.

First Wild Game

They ran into Sam and Tim at the game too.

Claire was so excited to attend her first Wild game with dad and Papa Rich. We weren't sure how well she would do so they only planned on staying for part of the game, but Claire loved it so much that they stayed for the whole thing. It was a 5:00 game so the time was perfect for her. Claire was able to meet the mascot, get her face painted and drink Sprite so it was a pretty perfect night for her. I definitely see more games for that her in the future.

School Carnival

Dad had some fun getting the color out of my hair. :)

Pete and I took Claire to my school's carnival and she loved every minute of it. I'm not sure if she loved the activities more or all the attention she received from the students. She is definitely in her element when she is around other kids. Some highlights for her were: the bounce house, face painting, snow cones, and getting her hair done. I forgot my camera so I just have pictures of her hair when we got home.
