The Big 2

Cousins minus Austin
The kids at the party minus Samantha.
A little game of chicken.
Grandpa Rich helping Claire blow out the candle.
The amazing cupcake horse Aunt Megan made for Claire.
All the kids loved the couch from Uncle Erick and Aunt Becky.
Such a lucky girl.
Claire loves her Jennie.
Eating dinner with her cousins.

I can't believe our girl is 2 years old. I don't know where the time has gone, but I would like it to slow down. We had a party for her and she had a great time. We have wonderful family and friends that came to celebrate with us. Claire was spoiled like normal and got so many wonderful presents. I hope she realizes what a lucky girl she is to have such amazing people in her life.

Birthday Lunch with the Friemanns

She loved her new register from the Friemanns.

We wanted to do something fun with Claire before her party so we decided to meet the Friemanns at McDonalds for a little lunch and playing. Claire had a great time playing with her "brothers." Since we don't see them everyday now we really appreciate our time together.

Pre-Birthday Dinner for Claire-Bear

I was a little sad that Claire didn't get to celebrate her birthday with friends at daycare so Jennie offered to meet us and do a little celebration together. Claire loves Jennie so much that I think this was the best idea. Ever since Claire was born she has had special bond with Jennie so any get together with her and the girls are great for Claire. We met at Old Chicago for pizza, drinks, and birthday dessert. It was a perfect way to end a week and start a weekend.

GO PACK GO

Megan did a great photo shoot with Claire and Carter in their packer gear last Friday in preparation for the Super Bowl. I'm pretty sure they were their good luck charm.

Days with Aunt Mae-Mae and Baby Carter

We decided to switch day cares and we had two weeks that we needed someone to watch Claire so we were lucky enough that Megan said she could do it on the days Pete worked. Claire got to spend 4 fun filled days painting, baking, making necklaces, playing play-doh, and much much more with Megan. I subtly left my camera out in hopes that Megan would take pictures and of course she did. I love the ones of her and Carter watching Barney together. I think this is a sign of things to come. Claire is definitely going to miss her Aunt Mae-Mae and Baby Carter time.

Sunday Morning with Samantha

Samantha came over for a play date and we had a great time together. The girls played so well together and they were so funny together. It was a great way to spend a Sunday morning.

They will thank us later.

Claire always has a great time with Henry and this time was no exception. They love their "naked" time and had a blast jumping and going down the slide. I'm pretty sure that they will appreciate these pictures at their high school graduation or wedding. :)

Uncle Andrew's Golden Birthday

Megan invited us over to celebrate Andrew's golden birthday and we had a great time. Grandpa Rich, Roxanne, Dale, and Paul were also there so we had a great time chatting, and eating wonderful food and cake made by Megan. Claire loved helping Megan in the kitchen and she was nice enough to let her. It was pretty cute because Carter loved watching Claire run around which everyone knows is exhausting.

Steeler Fan

Silly girl!

Claire got this adorable Steeler shirt from my Uncle John and Aunt Sue so we wanted to get some cute pictures of Claire in it. My parents also wanted a picture to put up for the Super Bowl, but Claire wasn't being real agreeable so this is the best we could get.

Family Day

Some light cooking
Doing a little shopping with Dad.

It was a rare open day for us so Pete, Claire and I went to the Children's Museum together. It was so fun having a family day together. I'm not sure if Pete or Claire enjoyed the museum more.

First Sleepover with the Aslesons

I love these girls.
Mommy's girls
Brynn was so patient with the little girls.
Ms. Independent
Cara loved bowling and did such a great job.

A little singing and dancing.
Sweet Girls!
Story time before bed.
I think they are pretty darn cute.

Pete had to work and Darren was out of town so Claire and I planned a sleepover with Jennie, Brynn, and Wa-Wa (That is Cara in Claire's words.). We headed down after school on a Friday and had a wonderful time playing, eating pizza, taking a bath, and laughing. Jennie and I talk almost daily, but we ended up talking until 12:30 that night. It seemed like a good idea until Claire decided she wasn't going to sleep. It was a very long night, but it was worth it. When we got up we decided bowling would be a fun adventure for the girls. Claire started out loving it, but then I think the lack of sleep took its toll on her and I did a lot of the bowling for her. It was definitely worth the attempt, but I think a full nights sleep will be needed before we try again. Thanks for a fun time Jennie, Brynn, and Cara.
