Jen's and the Kids

And I'm done!

Jen and her boys

Scott, Jen, Henry, and Roy came for dinner last week and we had another wonderful evening together. Claire and Henry play well together and of course Roy was the perfect baby. It must have been a lot of fun for Claire because she feel asleep on my lap early in the evening and that is not the norm for her.

Day Care Friends

Getting ready for the fun.

The Friemann's were nice enough to host a get together for some of the kids that go to Claire's day care and their mom's. They had a slip and slide that the kids really enjoyed. Claire even had fun running down it. We are very lucky to have such wonderful families that go to the same day care as Claire. I have I mentioned that I love summer.

As many of you know Claire and I have Girl's Night every Wednesday which I very much look forward to each week. I have wanted a picture of all the kids for a while and I was finally able to get a couple good ones. I tried to persuade Kristin to put her belly in the picture because Baby Smith should be arriving in early September, but she didn't think that was necessary. I guess I will have to take another picture with baby arrives.

The Kammerer's

As good as I could do.

My dad is so much fun.
Blowing bubbles

Adorable children

We have been trying to get together with the Kammerer's forever and we finally found a day where we were all free. They were nice enough to come up and have dinner with us. We had a great time playing and catching up. Elizabeth and Ayden are adorable great kids. Claire and Elizabeth did a great job playing together. Their dads also did a nice job playing together. They sure have fun together.

House Warming Party

Can you tell they are related?

Stensrud's

We thought it was time to have our friends over to see the house after all of our hard work. We were lucky enough to have good weather so we could spend most of the time outside. That was good because our air had gone out. I wish I could have gotten a picture of all the kids that were at the party because I think they almost out numbered the adults. We are very lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives.

Double Trouble

Future Couple?
She isn't shy.

Say cheese
Gross

At Girl's Night we noticed that Grant and Claire were missing so Beth went looking for them and yelled for me to get the camera. I had no idea what to expect, but I should have known that Claire would introduce the toilet to Grant. It is pretty gross, but at least I had cleaned the toilet shortly before they arrived. At least they were having fun.

Claire's Best-Friend

Hugs & Kisses

I don't think I can say enough about how patient Riley is with Claire. She adores him, but she also rarely leaves him alone. He loves laying our window seat and we often find Claire up there with him. It puts a smile on my face every time.

4th of July Fireworks

We were getting a little tired and cranky.

Sam didn't enjoy the fireworks.Align Center
Riley was such a good boy during the fireworks.

Our day didn't end at the Solberg's house because of course we needed to see fireworks. It worked out well that Pete got home at 8:30 that night so he could watch fireworks with us. Tim and Jen Friemann were nice enough to invite us over to their house to watch the fireworks because they have a perfect view of them from their backyard. Their two sons go to day care with Claire and Claire loves Jen. We live close enough to walk so we packed up some beverages and Riley and headed over for a couple hours. The kids had a lot of fun playing and Claire really liked the fireworks. This might have to become a tradition. Hint, hint Friemann's.

4th of July

Thanks for holding me up Riley.
Pretty girls

Grandma and Grandpa Paul headed home on the 4th of July and Pete had to work so it was just Claire and I for most of the day. Of course we kept ourselves busy. Angela and Samantha came over for lunch and a little photo shoot. We had a great time hanging out and the girls love each other. After Claire's nap we headed over to Dale and Roxanne's house for a grill out and good company. They were nice enough to include us in on their family tradition. Grandpa Rich was there to so Claire loved all the attention she got from everyone. Bri won her over pretty quickly and they did a lot of playing together.

Pete had to work so my mom, dad, Claire and I went to the 4th of July Parade in Hudson. We met Jen, Scott, Henry, Roy, Beth, Jason and Grant at the parade. Scott and Jen got there early and saved us great seats to enjoy the parade. The kids did really well, but of course Claire was the only one running around while the boys sat in the stroller.

Cascade Bay

It can't get better than this.
Catch me if you can.
Baby Addison and Hannah

Claire has swimming twice a week at Cascade Bay and she loves every minute of it. She some times loves it too much and doesn't like when I pull her away from the deep end. She loves putting her face in the water and running through the sprinklers.

Fun With Grandma and Grandpa Paul

We all loved having my parents here for a couple weeks, but Claire definitely enjoyed it the most. She loved having all the attention and other people to play with. She knew that she could make grandma laugh doing almost anything so she took full advantage of that.
